About this role
Role Overview
- Manage policy submissions and ensure timely processing and delivery of quotes, binders, and policies to producers, meeting established service standards
- Support the underwriting team by providing technical analysis and insights to help evaluate risk and inform decisions
- Assist underwriters with reviewing submissions, quoting, binding, policy issuance, and endorsement workflows
- Create, register, process and distribute binders, policies, and endorsements within processing standards
- Assist in the development and maintenance of underwriting workflows and procedures, ensuring accurate and complete documentation for all bound accounts
- Prepare all policies in accordance with final binders inclusive of review by underwriting staff
- Review and analyze facultative reinsurance certificates as determined by management
- Proactively communicate with producers for any outstanding information and ensure timely follow-up to support the underwriting process
- Implement and maintain a field service reputation that is recognized as superior in the industry
- Provide backup support to team members to ensure continuity of operations and maintain service standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in underwriting or insurance support with similar responsibilities
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas to drive our business
- Technical capabilities such as Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
