Support underwriters in new business intake as well as policy administration
Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
Build close relationships with all internal and external customers and ensure excellent customer service
Maintain new business and policy data in our modern IT systems, including Guidewire
Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure consistently high service quality
Prepare policy documents, invoices & insurance certificates and handle correspondence within our service levels with internal & external customers and distribution partners
Contribute to national and international projects aimed at continuously improving our service delivery through process optimization methods, automation or the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI)
Requirements
Professional experience as an Underwriting Assistant in an insurance or reinsurance company and/or completed vocational training as an insurance specialist
Good knowledge of insurance products (experience in commercial / corporate insurance is desirable)
Responsible, independent and reliable working style with a positive attitude for teamwork and collaboration with interface functions
Positive demeanor toward customers and a proactive, solution-oriented approach combined with a 'can-do' mindset
Good knowledge of modern policy administration systems for managing insurance contracts, especially Guidewire, is an advantage
Proficient in common Microsoft Office applications
Open, honest and goal-oriented communication and openness to a modern feedback and error culture
Fluent in German and English; additional languages such as Dutch, Flemish or French are an advantage.
