You are responsible for the performance of multiple cities, such as Leipzig and Dresden, and develop them as if they were a standalone business unit.
You steer growth, profitability and market position in your region and ensure that Marketing, Sales, Logistics and Commercial teams work according to shared priorities.
You identify opportunities, prioritize resources, and ensure that successful approaches are quickly implemented across the region.
You mobilize people, teams and decisions within a matrix organization and create sustainable growth across multiple cities.
Overall responsibility for regional performance and management of key KPIs (order volume, market share, conversion, partner performance).
Develop the regional growth strategy and allocate resources across cities and customer segments in a priority
and impact-oriented manner.
Data-driven optimization of the region through tests and experiments and subsequent scaling of successful measures.
Functional leadership and alignment of cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Logistics, Commercial, Strategy) to ensure operational execution.
Identify key partners and work closely with business units to improve offering quality and customer relevance.
Confidently present performance, risks and growth opportunities in management meetings and business reviews.
Requirements
Entrepreneurial mindset: You act as an “in-house entrepreneur” — thinking strategically, acting pragmatically, and fully accountable for results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Experience: Several years of experience in strategy, consulting, commercial/general management, marketing, or managing complex cross-functional programs.
Data & growth drive: Highly data-driven working style, confident KPI analysis for decision-making, and ideally experience with experimentation and performance management.
Stakeholder & matrix leadership: Strong leadership through influence and credibility (even without direct reports); capable of aligning diverse stakeholders around common goals.
Problem-solving skills: Strong at structuring complex issues, identifying regional market opportunities, and consistently driving operational execution.
Nice to have: Experience in platform, e-commerce, tech or hospitality environments, and in managing growth programs, transformations or turnarounds.
Languages: You speak fluent German and English. Additional languages are an advantage but not required.
