Accounting Supervisor

Role Overview

• Lead a team of accountants in assigned US GAAP accounting
• Supervise a team to transition general ledger responsibilities to the Shared Service center.
• Supervise day-to-day accounting and month end closing processes under US-GAAP.
• Work with site controllers for accurate financial statements.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Responsible for balancing team workload and meeting deadlines.
• Develop and maintain effective internal controls.
• Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Maintain a good relationship with site leadership.

Requirements

• US GAAP and IFRS knowledge required.
• Experience in the ramp-up phase or significant growth of a service center.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong bias for action and ability to proactively recognize and resolve issues.
• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience.
