Project Manager – Transportation PDP Rail and Transit

Role Overview

• Lead projects from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design
• Build, motivate, maintain, coach, guide, and develop teams
• Work with resource managers to plan ahead
• Track and report project progress against key targets
• Ensure compliance with company, client, and industry standards
• Act as the main point of contact for clients
• Win work as Bid Manager
• Share best practices and mentor junior staff

Requirements

• several years of infrastructure delivery experience
• Project/Engineering Management background in Heavy Rail or Light Rail/Mass Transit sector
• experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams (>£1m design fees)
• understanding of design delivery, assurance, and change control
• ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams
• understanding of various forms of contract, particularly NEC3 or 4 or bespoke forms
• professional membership and recognized level of Project Management competence (e.g. MAPM, MICE, PMQ)
