About this role
Role Overview
Provide advice to customers to support their purchasing decisions
Drive business development by researching the market, identifying new customers and launching additional products
Build strong, long-lasting relationships by offering information and supply-chain services
Cooperate with and receive support from internal partners in Product Management and Inside Sales, while providing guidance where appropriate
Keep customer reports up to date and highly valued
Requirements
Experience in trading volatile chemical raw materials or specialties for industrial customers is mandatory
Fluent business-level French and English; additional languages are a plus
Strong sales personality with the presence to represent the company at all levels of negotiation
Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships
Comfortable learning and using CRM systems and able to interpret figures and statistics
Well organized in managing a diverse set of tasks and responsibilities
Willingness to take responsibility, hands-on attitude and willingness to travel (approx. 50%)
