Associate Director, Medicare Advantage Bid Strategy, Analytics

Role Overview

• Develop and maintain bid financial models
• Pressure-test benefits across markets
• Monitor CMS regulations and their impact on benefit strategy
• Build and refine algorithms for benefit values
• Evaluate plan portfolio decisions with financial context
• Write and maintain production SQL supporting the benefit cascade system
• Build Python scripts to automate workflows
• Use AI tools to improve bid operations

Requirements

• Direct Medicare Advantage bid mechanics experience
• 5–8 years of relevant experience at a Medicare Advantage health plan or actuarial/consulting firm
• Strong modeling skills
• SQL fluency
• Python proficiency
• A proactive and adaptable mindset
