This position will focus on clinical supplemental data acquisition and integration to support Aetna's quality measures including but not limited to Medicare Stars and Hedis.
Develop and validate statistical models and predictive algorithms
Perform exploratory data analysis on structured and unstructured datasets
Build repeatable analytical solutions using established tools and best practices
Partner with stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical approaches
Produce insights, metrics, and dashboards to support decision‑making
Operate within defined governance, ethical, and data‑privacy standard
Requirements
Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and clearly articulate findings to non-technical stakeholders
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with emphasis on communicating insights and recommendations
Understanding of and adherence to data governance, privacy, and ethical standards in analytics work
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills applied to ambiguous or moderately complex analytical problems
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools, methods, and technologies as the analytics landscape evolves
Ability to design repeatable, scalable analytical solutions using established best practices
Strong capability in exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Ability to work with large, complex datasets using SQL and analytical data environments
Experience creating analytical outputs and visualizations using standard data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
