Develop business capability models, value streams, and process documentation that support enterprise architecture and modernization planning.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and working groups to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
Translate business needs into structured requirements, use cases, and supporting documentation for technical teams.
Create domain-level business architecture summaries including strategies, gaps, target states, and roadmaps.
Support alternatives analysis and investment decision-making by associating business capabilities with systems, technologies, and projects.
Ensure all artifacts, meeting minutes, approvals, and requirements are stored and maintained in the EA repository or other approved systems.
Collaborate with systems analysts, architects, and program teams to validate requirements and ensure alignment with enterprise goals.
Support governance documentation including decision gate materials, templates, charters, and guidance packages.
Provide analytical support to process improvement, policy development, and organizational change initiatives.
Requirements
Must be a US Citizen
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
7-10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Analyst, or Business Architect, particularly surrounding Capital Planning and Investment (CPIC).
Strong skills in business process modeling, capability mapping, and requirements documentation.
Ability to draft clear and structured technical and business artifacts for a diverse stakeholder group.
Experience with enterprise architecture methodologies and frameworks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, and modeling software.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
