Perform complex analyses to inform data‑driven decisions
Identify trends, evaluate performance, and develop recommendations to address key business challenges
Combine insurance domain knowledge, analytical expertise, and technical skills to extract actionable insights
Shape data foundations and foster a data‑driven culture
Collaborate with partners across Claims, Product, Underwriting, Actuarial, Finance, and Technology to define problems and deliver solutions
Drive alignment effectively communicating insights, conclusions, and recommended actions to senior leadership
Build strong relationships to support adoption and execution of insights
Contribute to building and enhancing data pipelines, reporting frameworks, and analytical standards
Help establish consistent metric definitions, governance, and scalable analytics practices
Support the development of AI‑enabled and automated analytics capabilities
Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to junior analysts
Requirements
6+ years of directly related analytical experience in a related industry required
Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience
Superior research, statistical, analytical, data processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses
Ability to make effective formal presentations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Visual Basic, data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and various structured analysis and design techniques
Knowledge of insurance, accounting and rate-making concepts
Strong ability to independently solve technical challenges by leveraging online resources
Demonstrated analytical agility and curiosity
Passion for learning new things, with an interest in technology
Ability to coach and mentor co-workers and give feedback as required by using effective interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Direct claims experience or analytical actuarial experience (preferred)
