The Transportation Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing truck and intermodal transportation operations.
Supports Ardent Mills’ internal and external customers and drives the execution of the transportation strategy.
Responsible for managing and maintaining strong relationships with carriers by monitoring performance, analyzing freight data, and providing actionable insights.
Participate in monthly reviews to develop action plans for load service metrics and operational stability KPIs.
Ensure carriers compliance with regulatory requirements related to truck transportation, including DOT regulations, safety standards, and environmental rules.
Work cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, sales, warehousing, procurement, and customer service teams to ensure seamless transportation operations.
Track and analyze freight expenses, identifying opportunities for cost reduction.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in transportation or logistics, with a focus on truck transportation.
Proven experience analyzing transportation data and managing relationships with carriers or third-party logistics providers.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and solutions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is essential.
Experience with transportation management software (TMS) is highly preferred.
Understanding of truck transportation operations, including routing, fleet management, and freight regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, Six Sigma) are a plus.
Experience working for a carrier or third-party logistics company
Experience with bulk transportation.
Experience in food logistics.
Cross border or dedicated freight experience
