About this role

Lead two engineering teams — Data Collections and Streaming Data Platform
Partner closely with the broader Data Platform leadership team and stakeholders across engineering
Act as a product-minded partner to your PM counterpart
Set clear team goals, prioritize projects, and ensure reliable delivery
Build and maintain a culture of engineering excellence
Take part in the end-to-end recruiting process, hiring and onboarding exceptional engineering talent
Serve as a coach, mentor, and advocate for the engineers on your team
Represent your teams' work and technical strategy to senior leadership

Experience leading platform or infrastructure engineering teams
Proven ability to set technical direction across multiple teams
Deep comfort with the tradeoffs involved in building high-reliability, low-latency data infrastructure
A product-minded orientation: genuine curiosity about the internal customers your teams serve
Skilled in coaching and mentoring engineers at all levels
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
5+ years of experience in engineering people management
