Field Engineer – Education Specialist

Role Overview

• Deliver high quality instrumentation training to Field Service Engineers or customer biomedical engineers
• Responsible for maintenance, repair, and modification of FE training equipment
• Assist in the development of training content for new and existing products
• Responsible for coordinating and managing classroom inventories and supplies
• Maximize training outcomes by providing coaching and conducting follow-up activities
• Participate on cross-functional teams and projects
• Build and maintain sound working relationships with sales and service management
• Perform ride-along activities with Field Engineers

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate's degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomedical Engineering preferred) or equivalent 2 years experience
• 5+ years of experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex electrotechnical systems
• Demonstrated experience delivering technical training (in-person and/or virtual)
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestic and/or international
