Government Analyst II

Role Overview

• This position requires a candidate who is creative, flexible, innovative, and who will thrive in a fast-paced, team based work environment.
• Responsible for developing and managing research and evaluation contracts, and assisting in the research, planning, and development of research and/or quality projects aimed at guiding Medicaid policies, procedures, and quality initiatives.
• Manages contracts as assigned including: developing and drafting contract scopes of services and amendments.
• Reviewing and analyzing contract budgets and related financial information.
• Working closely with vendor(s) to ensure timely submission, quality of deliverables, and adherence of deliverables to the intent and scope of work outlined in the contract.
• Conduct policy, research, or quality projects as directed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify trends and issues in the Medicaid program that warrant research, investigation, or evaluation to improve and enhance the quality of health care delivery in the Medicaid program.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• One year of professional experience in systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, program evaluation, engineering, and/or administrative work.
• A bachelor's degree from a college or university and/or a master's degree from a college or university in health services, social work, psychology, public administration, health care or social services administration.
• Florida Certified Contract Manager Certification
