Establish yourself as a subject matter expert by developing and managing resource capacity and utilization in alignment with commercial team and S&OP demand process inputs.
Implement Daily management strategies to essential responsibilities.
Lead project support sourcing activities with a team of sourcing professionals focused on Field Services Activities.
Manage overall Ind’l Field Service org budget including cost and hours liquidation, as well as Sourcing budget deflationary and cost predictability strategies.
Create and manage the development of the staffing plan for upcoming Outage seasons aligned to the S&OP process.
Coordinate GE, affiliate and vendor resources to achieve staffing plans that ensure success of outages.
Develop software solutions in concert with GE Digital/IT to improve the staffing process and drive simplification.
Resolve Field Services staffing-related Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and implement solutions.
Develop and maintain and update resource utilization metrics.
Maintain supply and demand projections to ensure adequate staffing levels to meet customer commitments.
Run “what if” scenarios for emergent and changing needs.
Manage a team of direct reports that includes Field Engineering, Technical specialist, and resource management staff.
Own standard monthly operating rhythms with matrixed region resource teams and with Service Line leader ... covering resource management performance / metrics.
Develop and manage resource capacity and utilization in alignment with commercial team and S&OP demand process inputs.
Develop strategies and processes to recruit, train, retain, and develop TFAs in the Industrial business.
Prioritize resource allocation decisions between business segments during peak fulfillment cycles.
Drive process standardization across global tooling footprint, including kitting processes, rate structure, key metrics and KPI’s.
Set strong culture in Field Services organization that prioritizes People Leadership, empowerment, and employee growth and development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Operations, Engineering, Management or related field (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of Field / Operations experience, in Power Generation installation or maintenance)
10+ years of combined experience in project management, operations, field services, engineering, or other related fields
5+ years of experience in Energy Services industry
Ability to travel regularly (25%)
