About this role
Role Overview
- Engage with both internal and external customers
- Solve unique data challenges and provide creative solutions
- Develop custom solutions to help clients fully engage with our platform and services
- Manage incoming communications through phone calls, emails, team chats, and Jira tickets
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information using the right methods/tools
- Follow up with clients to check satisfaction and success with solutions
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and follow up for resolution
- Troubleshoot common platform issues
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Linux
- Strong scripting knowledge of Shell scripting
- Proficient in at least one programming language including Java 8 or higher, Python and/or Scala
- Solid knowledge of SQL and open-source RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Experience with source control and code review tools (Git, GitLab, Gerrit)
- Exposure with Build Automation frameworks (Maven, Gradle, Jenkins)
- Experience with Cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Understanding of large-scale data processing systems like Hadoop, Map Reduce and Spark.
- Advanced proficiency in English
