About this role
Role Overview
- Align sourcing strategies with retail teams to support business objectives and manage order execution.
- Oversee factory capabilities, product quality, and on-time delivery to ensure supplier performance.
- Conduct supplier assessments and maintain a supplier matrix for assigned categories.
- Develop and sustain strong supplier relationships while negotiating product pricing and alternatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to address business needs and optimize sourcing solutions.
- Lead sourcing initiatives and mentor team members on sourcing activities and best practices.
- Utilize market knowledge and digital tools to enhance strategic sourcing and procurement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain or related area and 3 years’ experience in sourcing OR 5 years’ experience in sourcing, Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain or related areas.
- Bilingual in English and one or more language used to transact business in assigned country.
- Project Management certification.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management within complex supply chains.
- Strong negotiation skills to achieve cost-effective sourcing solutions while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Ability to assess supplier capabilities, conduct factory visits, and manage supplier quality and performance.
- Effective stakeholder management skills to collaborate cross-functionally and align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Knowledge of trade and political factors impacting sourcing decisions in assigned geographies.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement in sourcing processes.
