Schedule and lead customer meetings that include prospecting, existing account management, and garnering relationships with Economic Buying Influences (Chief, Sheriff, City/County Administrators)
Prospect, schedule, and run product demonstrations for license plate reader, mobile, and fixed video products
Uncovering additional sales opportunities within existing accounts including the entire Motorola portfolio
Prospect and engage competitive accounts to build a robust, long-term sales funnel
Drive growth by uncovering additional sales opportunities within existing accounts across the entire Motorola Solutions portfolio
Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to existing, eligible customers
Ensuring client awareness regarding the usefulness and proper operation of the products and services that were purchased
Work with existing Solution Sellers focusing on other parts of the portfolio in the region for cross-selling opportunities
Build a long-term funnel and engage competitive accounts
Coordinate and/or participate in state user group meetings and technology workshops
Requirements
Bachelors Degree + 4 years of sales, customer success, account management, public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales, customer success, account management, public safety experience
Strategic Hunting to independently identify and create new market opportunities
Outside sales experience selling solutions into government organizations desired
Strong relationship development and management skills
Ability to be a strong self-starter and hunt to identify/create sales opportunities
High-caliber, articulate, and motivated sales professional
Excellent communication skills (oral, written & presentation)
Excellent negotiation skills
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer
