Prepare geotechnical reports and calculations for conformity with project specifications
Prepare specifications for subsurface investigations, deep foundations, ground improvement, earth retaining systems, monitoring wells, water production wells, and general earthwork
Advise power project developers to support new utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage, thermal, and other projects
Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing
Develop technical reports for applicable audiences – including owners, developers, governmental agencies and committees, and financiers
Conduct occasional on-site quality surveillance of subsurface exploration programs, pile installation and pile testing
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a geotechnical focus
5+ years of detailed geotechnical design experience
Experience in working in design of power, transmission, or heavy industry projects
Experience in writing and providing support documentation for Geotechnical Engineering specifications or calculations
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical evaluation report writing
