Lead design decisions at a global level, while integrating the unique characteristics of the Asian region into the core design and approval process.
Manage daily global industrial design development from concept to mass production by providing the project teams with innovative visuals (2D and 3D CAD, prototypes) that take into account preliminary studies, the brand’s visual identity, technical constraints and industrial feasibility.
Integrate Asia-specific requirements (market, culture, regulations, manufacturing constraints) into global design decisions.
Participate in global design reviews and approval processes.
Work closely with sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing teams across regions.
Translate global design concepts into feasible, production-ready solutions.
Support design validation through prototyping, testing, and manufacturing reviews.
Collaborate with global design teams to maintain brand consistency and design quality, with sales, marketing, engineering, and manufacturing teams across regions.
Requirements
Obtained a degree in in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field
Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial or product design for mass-produced products.
Experience working in global or cross-regional development teams.
Proficiency in design tools such as Catia, Key Shot, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar visualization tools
Business Proficiency in English and Japanese
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and constraints.
Solid portfolio demonstrating concept development through production
