Prior experience in originating or monitoring a commercial loan portfolio consisting of borrowers in healthcare related industries
Conduct a complete credit analysis including gathering, analyzing, and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective customers
Approving the extension of credit and/or making recommendations to the person(s) making the final lending decisions on new, renewal and extension loans
Reviews customer accounts and portfolios to identify, evaluate and determine the appropriate course of action on potential credit quality issues in order to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential loss to the company
May use technological tools, including computer software, to assist in the credit analysis process

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent underwriting experience
Typically one or more years of underwriting experience for Healthcare Credit Analyst 4
Typically three or more years of underwriting experience for Healthcare Credit Analyst 5
Typically five or more years of underwriting experience for Healthcare Credit Analyst 6
Underwriting experience focused on credit analysis and analytical skills working with complex healthcare credits
Thorough knowledge of credit analysis, credit administration, credit policy and procedures, and risk analysis
Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including EXCEL and nCino for Healthcare Credit Analyst 4
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages – including nCino for Healthcare Credit Analyst 5
Advanced background in MS Office suite of products and skillset with MS Excel for Healthcare Credit Analyst 5 and 6
Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages – including nCino and Credit Lens for Healthcare Credit Analyst 6
