The Sales Coordinator (SC) works directly with the Stop Loss Specialists (SLSs), Account Managers (AM) and Sr. Account Managers (Sr. AM)
Coordinate the completion of prospect and sold case activities
Ensure the efficient flow of information by communicating effectively with internal and external partners
Provide support to AMs/Sr. AMs, resulting in a proactive account management approach
Communicate regularly with internal partners to ensure that client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded
Offers support on items including but not limited to prospect activity, reporting, system updates, questionnaires, sending proposals, broker updates, and confirming plan documents
Actively participates in the development of SC teams processes and tasks, while providing suggestions on how to make processes more efficient
Mentor new hires within this role
Perform additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree and or a minimum of one year of client/customer support, preferably in an account services capacity
Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and strong relationship-building skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, follow-through, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and transaction-oriented environment
Must be able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in support of the team’s work efforts during peak periods
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team
Knowledge of insurance industry, distribution, and customer service preferred
Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite of products with good technical knowledge of Excel
Experience using different tools simultaneously
