About this role
Role Overview
- Overseeing the team’s shared pricing request intake process and ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality service delivery across all requests
- Providing ongoing technical and leadership development to team members to strengthen analytical capabilities, communication skills, and business judgment
- Leading pricing discussions directly with partners and attorneys, providing strategic guidance and recommendations related to fee structures, profitability considerations, pricing strategy, and commercial positioning
- Supporting the development of budgets, fee estimates, profitability models, and matter economics analyses
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Business Development, Practice Management, Legal Project Management, and other business services teams to enhance service delivery
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, or related field
- An advanced degree, preferably
- A minimum of three (3) years of analytical experience in finance or related professional services environment
- A minimum of five years of cumulative professional experience
- Possess well-developed knowledge of market research resources, financial reporting and modeling, and project management skills
- Demonstrate the ability to consistently exercise independent judgment and discretion
- Display excellent analytical skills needed for all primary duties of position, including comprehending and communicating data, and performing detailed analyses independently
