Leverage targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to Humana Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment
Focus on increasing orders to Humana Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues
Build relationships on front office to back office medical clinic sales calls within the territory
Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications
Requirements
Previous experience working in sales with documented success
Experience working in a healthcare setting and/or managed care environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexible, dynamic personality who works well in a team environment
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partnering business segments
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
Must be comfortable with daily travel and approx. 70% of time to include potential overnight travel
Must live within the defined sales territory or willing to relocate at your own expense
Attendance at offsite team meetings, which could require flights and overnight travel
This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Your driving record will be evaluated as part of a third party background check and certain types or combinations of infractions may affect your eligibility for this position
