Develop and maintain a strong understanding of MRI applications, clinical workflow, and technical requirements through engagement with physicians, scientists, medical physicists, and key opinion leaders in clinical and academic settings; communicate insights to product, engineering, and other internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with GE HealthCare global modality and care pathway product teams to assess unmet clinical and technical needs, identify research opportunities, and support the generation of clinical evidence.
Propose and prioritize collaborative research and scientific activities in support of strategic initiatives related to current and future MR technologies, with emphasis on clinical utility, technical performance, and medical physics considerations.
Support academic and clinical research collaborations with radiologists, medical physicists, technologists, and research teams, including engagement with assigned key academic and clinical sites focused on MR applications.
Contribute to the development of the evidence portfolio through journal publications, summary articles, technical documents, and clinical marketing or training materials; support partnership opportunities through letters of support, research proposals, and grant submissions.
Support adoption of new technologies and clinical applications through scientific advocacy and evidence generation.
Requirements
PhD or equivalent degree in Medical Physics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Health Sciences, or a related field.
Some experience in MR, medical imaging, medical physics, or a closely related field, with demonstrated expertise in MR systems, MR physics, and clinical applications.
Experience with academic and/or clinical research collaborations.
Experience in a clinical environment working with clinicians, radiologists, technologists, and medical physicists, with an understanding of how MR is used in clinical practice and research settings.
Strong relationship management and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated record of innovation and development, publications and/or conference presentations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical issues, assess evidence, and learn new concepts quickly.
