Role Overview
Independently monitor global and country developments and lead research efforts on relevant topics as needed.
Review and challenge proposals for macroeconomic forecasts
Review and challenge the framework used to generate macroeconomic forecasts
Review and challenge sovereign rating and country Watchlist proposals
Prepare PowerPoint presentations (using Excel or other graphical tools) to convey the team’s analyses and views.
Prepare memos summarizing the outcome of the review and challenge process
Build analytical tools to aid in review of macroeconomic forecasts
Requirements
6-10 years relevant experience
Ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organization
Ability to both work collaboratively and autonomously; ability to navigate a complex organization
Advanced analytical skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
Extensive knowledge of all legal, regulatory, appraisal, and corporate policies and procedures in order to ensure business compliance to minimize corporate risk
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
