Role Overview
- Drive talent management, OD/OE (organization development and effectiveness), and employee engagement initiatives
- Support Site Leadership team in forecasting workforce plans
- Manage all aspects of collective labor relations and negotiations with trade unions
- Implement effective change management strategies for business transformation
- Collaborate with leadership to improve engagement, retention, and organizational effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR management or related field
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- A minimum of 10 years of direct, hands-on experience managing labor relations in a unionized manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of sustaining productive union-management relationships
- Experience operating in manufacturing sites
- Knowledge of relevant labor legislation including the Industrial Disputes Act and Factories Act
