Lead and optimize SAM processes to ensure compliance, cost efficiency, and accurate software license management
Maintain data integrity across SAM systems and related platforms
Serve as a liaison between SAM, IT, Procurement, and Finance teams to align software asset strategies with business objectives
Lead projects to improve SAM tooling and processes
Drive initiatives to improve software usage data accuracy for optimization and compliance
Support data gathering and discovery activities for M&A projects, ensuring SAM considerations are integrated early in the process
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within SAM workflows.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field
minimum of 6 years experience in IT Asset Management or Software Asset Management
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years in IT Asset Management or Software Asset Management
in lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience
Strong understanding of SAM principles, licensing models, and compliance frameworks
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Ariba, Snow, and other SAM tools
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels
ITIL or SAM-related certifications (e.g., CSAM, ITAM)
Experience with cloud licensing models (Azure, AWS, SaaS)
Familiarity with financial and procurement systems (Ariba).
