Compunnel Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Business Analyst I to support their Marketing Mix Modeling initiative. In this role, you will collect, organize, cleanse, and validate marketing investment data to support analytics and business decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Gather marketing spend and campaign activity data from MDF systems, regional teams, agencies, and stakeholders
- Clean, standardize, and normalize data from multiple sources and formats
- Apply defined marketing taxonomies to categorize media spend by channel, tactic, audience, and campaign type
- Validate data accuracy and identify discrepancies for resolution with stakeholders
- Break down high-level budget data into more detailed categories where appropriate
- Maintain structured datasets used by Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and analytics teams
- Support ongoing data refreshes and updates
- Document data sources, assumptions, and transformation processes
- Coordinate with external vendors to ensure accurate and timely dataset delivery
Requirements:
- 0–3 years of experience in data analysis, marketing analytics, finance, business analysis, or a related field
- Experience using AI/LLM tools to assist with data cleansing, formatting, or organization
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify inconsistencies
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with incomplete or ambiguous information
- Ability to follow structured processes and maintain data quality standards

- Internship, coursework, or project experience in analytics, business, marketing, or a related field
