Work in Microsoft and virtualization environments with a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) mindset, focusing on automation and continuous improvement.
Provide operational support and evolution of critical environments, contributing directly to the platform’s technology transition from VMware virtualization to OpenShift and Nutanix.
Advanced administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, GPOs and other critical Microsoft platform services.
Senior-level work in VMware vSphere environments during the transition period.
Support migration to OpenShift and Nutanix.
Design and implement automations using PowerShell and other SRE tools.
Apply and advance SRE practices: observability, reliability and automation.
Perform patching, hardening and compliance processes.
Deep troubleshooting of virtualization and operating system issues.
Create operational standards, automated routines and high-quality documentation.
Provide support and mentorship to less experienced analysts.
Actively participate in improvement proposals, incident reduction and gains in operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent.
Strong expertise in Windows Server and Microsoft infrastructure services.
Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi 6.7+.
Engineering and automation mindset ("automate everything that repeats").
Analytical capability for root cause investigation (RCA, SACP).
Clear communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
Proactivity and sense of ownership.
Operational organization and discipline.
Adaptability to work in a technological transformation environment.
Knowledge of Nutanix and OpenShift/Kubernetes.
Advanced PowerShell skills and automation of routines.
