About this role
Role Overview
- Work with advanced Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu Server).
- Manage virtualized environments in VMware during the transition period.
- Direct participation in the move to OpenShift and Nutanix.
- Automation with Shell scripting and Ansible.
- Adoption and evolution of SRE practices.
- Automation, observability, management of SLIs/SLOs, and reliability.
- Blameless post-mortems.
- Patching, hardening, and security governance.
- High-complexity troubleshooting (kernel, I/O, networking).
- Standardization of services and creation of technical documentation.
- Proactive actions to ensure platform stability and performance.
- Support and guidance for junior and mid-level analysts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Advanced Linux administration knowledge (RHEL-based and Debian-based).
- Advanced Shell scripting skills and automation with Ansible.
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere/ESXi 6.7+.
- Advanced troubleshooting: systemd, logs, kernel, LVM, multipath.
- Networking: TCP/IP, firewall, bonding, DNS.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic).
- Automation
