About this role
Role Overview
- Perform electrical testing, maintenance, and repair services on electrical distribution systems
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up on low, medium and high voltage electrical systems
- Conduct transformer tests, relay calibration, and circuit breaker testing
- Respond to customer emergencies in a timely manner
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or EE Degree required
- NETA Certification (I, II, III or IV) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in switchgear testing
- Good PC skills including Excel; PowerDB experience a plus
- Must adhere to electrical safety procedures
- OSHA 30 hour, MSHA, NFPA training preferred
- Drug-free and able to pass tests
- Valid driver’s license with good record
- Willing to work flexible hours and travel 40%
