Adjunct Instructor – Electrical Engineering

Role Overview

• Required to teach undergraduate electrical engineering course(s) in one or more modalities: Face-to-face, web-enhanced, hybrid, or online
• Courses may be conducted as a 5-week, 8-week, 10-week, or 16-week term
• Must coordinate course administrative duties such as grading student work, submitting grades in a timely manner, and additional administrative duties as needed

Requirements

• Minimum educational requirements for undergraduate level courses: Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or related field
• Minimum of 18 graduate level credit hours in the teaching discipline
• Degree and coursework must be obtained from a regionally accredited institution
• Minimum educational requirements for graduate-level courses: Doctorate or terminal degree in the teaching discipline, or closely related field
• Must coordinate course administrative duties such as grading student work, meeting census and grade deadlines, and additional administrative duties as needed.
