Define the Performance Optimization team’s strategy by incorporating input from domain experts, company leadership, and other teams
Oversee team projects, ensuring objectives align with company goals, integrate with other teams’ technology stacks, and are delivered to production on schedule
Manage team resources and priorities to ensure alignment with departmental objectives
Recruit talented, complementary individuals to grow the team in line with the department hiring plan
Foster a supportive environment that promotes team development and career progression
Manage external research collaborations
Represent the company at conferences and workshops on machine learning for quantum computing

Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a research or engineering team delivering tools in an R&D environment
Proven track record of leading teams to deliver complex projects on time
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Optimization, Quantum Computing, or a related field (Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Theoretical Physics)
