Ownership for monthly reporting of the division’s performance
Partner with Commercial Operations to significantly enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the monthly billing run and accrued income recognition process
Work with the commercial finance and wider business to review costs
Lead, mentor, and develop the Assistant Management Accountant, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance, particularly around new technologies
Producing monthly divisional reporting packs and commentary
Review and ownership of balance sheet reconciliations to agreed timelines with all reconciling items investigated and resolved promptly
Manage statutory and group year-end audit requirements
Identify and implement automation opportunities within the monthly reporting cycle to reduce close time and enhance control effectiveness.
Manage team delivery of financial reporting in line with month end timetable
Provide weekly cash flow forecasting for RVU London.
Requirements
2 years post-qualified experience ACA, ACCA or CIMA
Strong management accounting experience
Experience in a technology-driven environment
Proven track record of driving and implementing process automation and efficiency improvements
Strong ability to partner with and influence non-finance stakeholders (e.g., Commercial Operations) to improve cross-functional processes
Strong excel / IT skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in the technology, internet, or finance sector is strongly desirable
Experience leveraging AI tools.
