Accounting Technician

Role Overview

• Perform accounts payable data entry;
• Process payroll;
• Compile credit card statements and expense reports;
• Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable;
• Prepare and send customer aging reports to the sales department(s);
• Reconcile customer deposits;
• Manage the accounting department's email inbox;
• Perform accounting validation for outgoing shipments;
• Create and send customer invoices;
• Be responsible for analysis and approval of customer account opening requests;
• Record financial statement entries;
• Perform the monthly petty cash reconciliation;
• Complete any administrative documents requested by senior management;
• Any other tasks where your expertise may be put to use.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Intermediate level of English;
• Strong ability to manage priorities;
• Ability to work independently;
• Excellent organizational and planning skills;
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
• Team player — collaboration and mutual support are core values;
• Comfortable using accounting software;
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;
