Role Overview
- The Quality Manager ensures the compliance, performance, and continuous improvement of the quality management system
- Escalate issues and halt production, block shipments, and recommend an additional control plan if a quality issue is detected
- Manages the release of trials and informs the Industrialization department
- Responsible for the laboratory, food safety, their team, and metrology
- Supports and advises on decisions and actions related to the quality approach
- Promotes product quality awareness across all departments
- Collaborates with other members of the group quality team
- Manages internal and customer non-conformities and associated action plans
Requirements
- 5+ year’s management experience preferred
- BRC and ISO experience in packaging manufacturing is fundamental
- Qualifications and/or good experience in food contact substances and regulatory legislation for plastic packaging an advantage
