Leads the activities of the clinical nutrition department including the nutritional care of patients.
Responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing nutrition guidelines, initiatives, and operations for Clinical Nutrition
Promotes nutritional education for diabetic patients through ongoing provider education
Collaborates with individuals in both the inpatient and outpatient areas to coordinate care of patients across the health care continuum.
Requirements
Registered Dietician (RD) or Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided: WV: Licensed Dietitian through the West Virginia Board of Licensed Dietitians
Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist through the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education or obtain within one (1) year of hire.
Five (5) years of management experience in healthcare food service or clinical nutrition management.
