Provide Help Desk support for the three CPRIT programs: Product Development, Prevention, and Research
Respond to e-mail and telephone inquiries for the CPRIT Help Desk
Guide and assist the applicant and grantee community through the online processes for application and post-award submission
Prepare weekly and monthly Help Desk reports
Support peer review meetings, including gathering and formatting reviewer materials, assistance with meeting registration, and technical support for virtual meetings
Perform administrative review of applications for compliance
Participate in the set-up for programs, including completing set-up quality control and preparing deliverables
Provide administrative support for post-award evaluations
Complete ad hoc administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 0+ years of experience
Written and oral communication skills: Able to represent the client on the phone and in email, using professional (non-colloquial) English, using correct grammar and spelling
Able to project a calm, competent, and empathetic persona on the phone
Interpersonal skills: Being flexible, adaptable, cooperative, and supportive of team members
Organizational skills: Able to both follow directions and work independently; effectively and efficiently multitask; careful attention to detail
Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
