Director, Network Development

Role Overview

• Responsible for hospital, provider and ancillary provider contracting
• Facilitate optimal member access and successful business growth initiatives
• Develop a Contracting Strategy for various targeted markets
• Responsible for robust competitor and provider analysis
• Ensure provider network is adequate and meets requirements
• Interact with Finance Department on pricing for provider contracts
• Implement performance improvement initiatives for Provider Satisfaction Scores

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health-related field
• Minimum 5 years management experience required
• Minimum of 3 years contract negotiation experience required
• Managed care experience highly preferred
• Intermediate computer skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Knowledge of Network Management Processes & Services
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Attention to detail
• Critical listening and thinking skills
