About this role
Role Overview
Support management of federal financial and transformation initiatives, ensuring project scope, schedule, and deliverables are executed effectively.
Contribute to Program Management Office (PMO) activities, including development and maintenance of Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs) and RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs to track risks and dependencies.
Coordinate with client stakeholders and internal teams to support governance processes, including preparation of status reports, executive briefings, and meeting materials.
Support financial oversight activities, including tracking budgets, forecasts, and burn rates, and assisting in development of financial status reports and dashboards.
Assist in development and implementation of cost allocation methodologies, including activity-based costing models and service catalog structures to support transparent and equitable cost recovery.
Support billing and financial management processes, including validating financial data, reconciling charges, and ensuring alignment with interagency agreements and funding availability.
Assist in development of financial policies, procedures, and documentation to support consistent execution of Working Capital Fund operations and billing practices.
Contribute to audit readiness activities, including documentation support, control tracking, and compliance with federal financial management standards (e.g., GAAP, FASAB, FAR).
Support stakeholder engagement and change management activities, including preparation of communications, training materials, and user guidance to support adoption of updated financial processes.
Maintain project documentation, including work plans, meeting notes, action items, and status reports.
Identify risks and issues, escalate as appropriate, and support development of mitigation strategies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST".
3+ years of experience supporting financial management, Working Capital Funds (WCF), shared services, or cost-recovery programs.
1+ years of financial experience supporting federal, governmental, state local government.
Experience with cost allocation methodologies, including activity-based costing and rate development.
Experience supporting PMO activities, including project tracking, documentation, and risk management.
Familiarity with interagency agreements and financial processes supporting reimbursable work.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to client-facing deliverables.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (financial analysis), PowerPoint, and Word.
Proficiency in Google Workspace productivity suite Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
