Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects, from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are strictly adhered to.
Coordinate with onsite stakeholders to coordinate construction activities.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
Provide leadership and direction to onsite construction teams, managing daily operations to ensure smooth project flow.
Proactively identify and address potential issues or delays, implementing effective solutions.
Maintain communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or requests.
Conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, and ensure all work aligns with the project plans and specifications.
Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and other resources necessary for the project.
Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, reports, and records, and prepare weekly project reports.
Ensure compliance of contractors using company accommodations.
Monitor arrivals and departure request of all contractors onsite.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
At least 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully completing projects on time and within budget.
Experience managing large-scale construction projects, preferably in international or remote locations.
Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Blue Beam etc.).
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, with extended stays in the Bahamas as required.
