Prepare reports, plans, construction schedules and studies for review
Interface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers
Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications
Direct technicians and EIT’s for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently
Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents
Mentor others in the proficient use of design software
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
Passed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE #
Previous mechanical building design experience in a consultant capacity
The ability to use Revit/BIM is required and ability to use Trane Trace 3D is preferred.
