Proactively contact customers through multiple channels (phone calls, WhatsApp, email, etc.) to guide them through the underwriting process and ensure clear, timely communication.
Handle and resolve customer queries related to their applications and health declarations promptly and professionally.
Perform thorough risk assessments on individual new business applications in strict accordance with the company’s underwriting guidelines, risk appetite, service standards, and personal authority limits.
During customer interactions, identify and implement opportunities to improve the underwriting experience.
Requirements
At least 2 years of customer service (call centre) experience in Medical/ Health insurance
Bilingual Fluency (Read/Write/Speak) in Chinese (Cantonese) and English
Score 6 or above in IELTS Academic test
Satisfy all academic requirement for insurance intermediary licensing in Hong Kong
Prior experience in medical underwriting (preferred but not essential)
Education background in nursing, allied health or related discipline (preferred but not essential)
Fluency in Mandarim (preferred but not essential)
Passed IIQE Paper I & III (preferred but not essential)
