About this role
Role Overview
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team
Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and technical requirements
Facilitate workshops and interviews with advisers, paraplanners, and operational stakeholders
Produce high-quality artefacts including process maps, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications
Define and validate acceptance criteria
Document and assess integration requirements including API-based connections
Analyse end-to-end advice and financial planning journeys
Map as-is and to-be processes ensuring regulatory compliance
Identify opportunities to embed AI-powered tooling
Work closely with the Product Owner to refine and maintain a well-groomed backlog
Participate actively in sprint ceremonies
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
Communicate complex technical and process changes clearly to non-technical audiences
Champion best practices in business analysis, agile delivery, and financial services
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of BA standards
Requirements
Experience as a Technical Business Analyst, ideally within financial services or fintech
Demonstrable experience working within agile cross-functional delivery teams
Strong understanding of UK financial planning processes, including advice suitability, fact-finding, and client onboarding
Experience with wealth management platforms and advice technology is highly desirable
Practical experience using AI tools to improve personal productivity and inform solution design
Working knowledge of core technical concepts including RESTful APIs, data integration patterns, and system authentication methods
