Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to MFT infrastructure, protocols, and integrations (L2/L3 support)
Manage and support file transfers using protocols such as HTTPS, SFTP, and point-to-point
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated incidents and fulfill service requests
Monitor system health and performance, ensuring high availability and reliability of MFT services
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell scripting and/or Perl to streamline operations
Administer Linux-based systems, including patching, performance tuning, and log analysis
Participate in a rotational shift schedule to provide 24x7 support coverage
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), known error databases (KEDBs), and knowledge articles
Requirements
Strong understanding of file transfer protocols (HTTPS, SFTP, point-to-point)
Proficiency in Linux command-line operations and system administration
Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Shell and/or Perl
Experience in L2/L3 support roles, including incident triage, resolution, and RCA documentation
Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) for ticket and change management
Willingness to work in one of three rotational shifts
