Role Overview
- Provides clinical pharmacy services and cost containment initiatives
- Ensures safe care to patients and adheres to policies and procedures
- Participates in continuing education programs for pharmacy staff
- Assists with implementation of educational programs for healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy
- Must be eligible and obtain licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Texas within 90 days of residency start date
- Ability to promote teamwork and build effective relationships
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy and hospital computer systems and computer-assisted devices
- Pharmacy Sterile Product certification preferred
