About this role
Role Overview
Provide excellent customer service to all callers
Answer calls in a courteous manner
Identify callers' needs and transfer calls as appropriate
Log calls into the telephone log
Use the telephone etiquette script to answer each call
Triage phone calls appropriately and in a timely manner
Meet or exceed caller's expectations
Determine availability of the receiving party
Identify appropriate action if the receiving party is unavailable
Report issues or problems with the telephone system to management
Other duties as needed and assigned by management.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Health care or Home Care experience preferred
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Displays optimal critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations preferred
Working knowledge of managed care environment preferred
Experience multi-tasking on multiple computer systems.
Ability to consistently demonstrate a commitment to the mission and Organizational Code of Ethics, and adhere to the Compliance Program.
