About this role
Role Overview
- Responsible for developing the Kwest iOS app
- Build core interfaces (feed, profile, creation flow, notifications, badges…)
- Implement the gamification system (XP, levels, badges, rarity…)
- Create the artistic matchmaking engine
- Integrate APIs (Spotify, Supabase, in-house AI, etc.)
- Deliver smooth animations (120Hz, Apple-native feel)
- Design modern interactions (gestures, swipe, drag, total fluidity)
- Contribute to technical leadership
- Product thinking and strategy
- Architect a scalable codebase
- Make key technology decisions
- Shape the overall user experience of Kwest
Requirements
- Strong mastery of SwiftUI
- Ambitious and motivated to build a standout app
- Ability to ship quickly, cleanly, and with style
- Familiarity with modern app conventions (BeReal, Instagram, Snap, Figma…)
- Desire to be recognized for your work
- Passion for beautiful interfaces, UX, and micro‑animations
- Bonus: experience with Supabase, Firebase, or other modern backends
- Ability to prototype rapidly
- Understanding of gamification or gaming principles
- Have previously shipped an app to the App Store
