About this role
Role Overview
Seek in-licensing, distributorship, and other commercialization partnerships
Conduct due diligence on potential in-licensing candidates
Build and maintain strong relationships with global partners
Lead negotiation and finalization of in-licensing agreements
Collaborate with pre-commercialization teams to assess feasibility
Monitor industry trends to identify and prioritize in-licensing prospects
Create tailored commercialization solutions for new manufacturers
Lead cross-functional delivery of RFP recommendations and pricing models
Partner with Regulatory Affairs to identify regulatory-focused business opportunities
Consult with clients to develop regulatory strategies
Maintain a comprehensive client relationship database
Ensure seamless transfer of client expectations to operational teams
Requirements
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry
Proven track record of success in business development and the in-licensing of pharmaceutical products
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or client-facing roles within the healthcare service industry
Understanding of the Canadian Regulatory landscape and processes in bringing a pharmaceutical to market
University degree in Science, Business, Management, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred)
Demonstrated experience in commercialization and regulatory business development
Negotiation and key account management expertise
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Project and time management expertise
Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Bilingualism is an asset
